B-1 Visa Extension
Requirements
You must meet the following requirements to pursue a B-1 visa extension
- You must have an unexpired B-1 or other visa
- You must be able to prove all elements of the B-1 visa (which vary by country)
- You must be able to document a business reason why the extension is needed
- You must be prepared to supply proof of sufficient funds to support yourself in the United States
Duration of Visa
If the extension is approved, it is generally granted
for the length of time needed to conclude necessary business, but rarely for
more than six months.
