Requirements

You must meet one of the following requirements to pursue an EB-2 visa

You are an alien of "exceptional ability" in the sciences, arts, or business
You have an advanced degree

Labor certification is generally required in order to obtain an EB-2 visa, although this requirement can be waived if the BCIS (formerly known as the INS) determines that waiving the requirement is in the national interest.
